Family Camp @Bear Valley
MCF's annual Family Camp is Friday - Sunday, August 9th through 11th, in Bear Valley. Because of the camp, there will be no morning service at MCF that Sunday.
We will be camping in a private meadow in Bear Valley, only 45 minutes from the church. There are spots for tents and RV's, and water hookup is available (bring extra hose and a splitter). There are trails for hiking and bike riding, and Lake Alpine is just a short ride away. Coffee, hot chocolate, water and lemonade will be available at a central location. A campfire service will follow dinner on Saturday evening. You are welcome to stay the entire weekend or come for any portion of the camp, even just dinner and the campfire service.
In addition to a full barbequed beef dinner Saturday at 5 pm, there will be a hamburger dinner Friday evening at 6 and a simple pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. If you are planning to come up, please reply to this email with the number in your party, and let us know which of the included meals you plan to attend.
The suggested donation for the weekend is $25.00 per family or $10.00 a person. This includes the three available meals. Donations can be made in any regular offering, online as a tithe, or at the camp.
